Birdy got this crafty toy that includes a dolly & 2 bears that you stuff yourself. She became interested in making clothes for the dolly & the bears. I remembered my mom had this little sewing machine she had bought off the tv or something. It isn't very strong or anything but I figured it would be the perfect fit for my birdy girl.
I had to help her a lot more than I expected, really. But I had a good attitude & remained patient. She did choose the most slippery bits of fabric I had, after she cut it into various unuseable pieces of course. We salvaged what we could & went to work.
Voila! The finished project. She was SO proud. So was I! :-)
