Another Funeral dress.

I made this dress for dd, to wear to my mother's funeral. The fabric is the same print I used for my grandmother's funeral except the butterflies are blue & yellow, instead of lavender & orange.

I attached the ties @ the side this time & tied it in front. The ties are long enough to go around 2x. It is a standard tank top type bodice & the skirt is very long. I also made a matching head tie.

She won't grow out of this for awhile. I thought it was appropriate & a nice sentiment to have the same fabric, but in different colors for my mother as I used for grandma. I bought the fabric before she died, so I would have it when the time came, knowing I would need it sooner rather than later.
